practical conditions

In order to clean a vaporiser plant, an acid- / prine- washer had to be constructed. The narrow room conditions were a special difficulty.

The condensate is collected in an upper collecting vessel, as soon as the vessel is filled, the excessive water flows into the sewerage.

Whenever the vaporiser needs to be flushed, the condensate is discharged into the mixing vessel at first and then either acid or brine is added. Which medium and which pH-value is made up depends on the level of contamination of the vaporiser and the evaporated medium respectively.

As a result of the narrow room conditions a very compact unit had to be built, at the same time diverse safety specifications had to be observed, because highly concentrated acids and brines were used.
