Practical conditions:
In a commercial kitchen delicatessen like salads, steaks, kebab and sausages and also fine desserts are produced. Dishes, pans, bowls, transport containers and such things are washed up by a band dishwasher.
The waste water is contaminated with high COD- and BOD-load. This causes high waste water charges. Another problem is sedimentation in the public sewer.
The aim was to design a waste water purification plant which reduce the COD- and BOD-load, which function trustworthy, which can be assembled space-saving and also is inexpensive.
Because of the know how of Leiblein-company all demands could be satisfied.

Function specification:
The waste water from the dishwasher is discharged by a lifting pump to a buffer tank.
An air-operated diaphragm pump feeds reaction tanks. By adding of precipitating agents and flocculants a good filterable floc forms.
Now the flocs are removed by filtering through an Leiblein inclined filter. The filtrate is discharged into the public sewer, the sludge is scraped from the fleece into a container and the fleece is rolled up for a separate disposal.
