Practical conditions:
To be independent of weather effects, some agricultural cooperatives built hay drying plants.
At one plant in southern Germany the exhaust air is cleaned by a wet cleaner.
The washing water is purified by a Leiblein-plant.
Function specification:
The plant consists of following components:
- Leiblein rotary screen
- Leiblein lamella separator
- Leiblein drainage container
A by-pass flow rate of 40m³/h is continously purified. In the first step the bigger fibres (>1 mm) are sieved by a rotary screen. A conveyer transports the fibre-sludge out of the screen and into a drainage container. The filtrate flows into a lamella separator.
In the lamella separator the fine dust particles become sedimented and are collected in the sludge funnel. The sludge is pumped off intermittently into the drainage container.
The drainage container drains the sludge and prepare it for transport.
The purified water flows back into the wet cleaner circuit.
