Leiblein rotary screen

principle of operation

rotary screen

The Leiblein rotary screen separates and sieves water contents like floating particles, fat, fibres and a lot of other particles. High flow rates can be purified efficient. The sieve process occurs inside the rotary screen.
The dirty water is feed homogenous inside the screen drum. The particles / sludge are kept back and carried out by a conveyor screw. The filtrate passes the screen and is collected in the below filtrate tank.
The screens can be made according the respective applications (e.g. perforated plates, fleece or slot sieve). This enable a wide range of applications and a high flexibility.

The openings of the Leiblein rotary screen effectively separates and sieves out the contents of the water like floating substances, fats, fibre etc. in high concentrations inside a rotating screen cylinder. The actual process` of sieving takes place in the inside of the screen drum. The inlet-stream is lead via an inlet- and distribution-channel into the drum and there is evenly distributed over the surface of the fissure screen. Another remarkable factor which makes the Leiblein rotary screen so extraordinarily effective is the retransitionaled guidance of separating solid substances from the liquid via an integrated screw conveyor.

Function tests with Leiblein rotary screens have shown, that the large screen surface guarantees a more effective separation than other systems do.
